
MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — A youth baseball team from Meridian was on a winning streak going into their third game.
Meridian Select 10U won their first game, Sunday against New Hampshire's Winchester Sachems, New England's regional champion, 5-3 after being down 0-3 in the third inning. Maddox Bullock was awarded Meridian 10U Select Player of the Game for hitting two doubles that helped with the comeback win.
The team won its second game on Monday against Australia's Aussie Drop Bears 10U with a score of 10-1. Meridian 10U Select Player of the Game went to Eli Shinoda after he drove in four runs on three hits.
The boys' next game is Tuesday at 6 p.m. (MST) against Indiana's Crown Point Bulldogs White 10U.
The results of these three games will determine the team's bracket moving forward.
