Nyle DiMarco became the first deaf contestant to participate in “America’s Next Top Model” when he was scouted by its producers in 2015. By the end of the year, he had skyrocketed to stardom as the show’s first deaf winner.
The 33-year-old model and activist uses his celebrity status as an opportunity to educate his followers about Deaf culture.

Two teens arrested in connection to fatal Salt Lake shooting
SALT LAKE CITY — Police say two 15-year-olds have been arrested in connection to a shooting that killed a 23-year-old man.
Officers with the Salt Lake City Police Department responded to the area of 600 East and 200 South after a person called 911 and reported finding someone on the ground before 2 a.m. Friday.
As first responders attempted life-saving aid, they realized the victim, identified as Rory Swimm, had been shot.

The Albion Maui 2009 girls soccer team won the annual Hawaii Thanksgiving Invitational Tournament hosted by Rush Soccer Club Nov. 24-26 in Honolulu.
The Maui team won the final 3-2 after winning two of three matches in pool play. The team is coached by Ron Kapaku and Cheyenne Ranis and the team manager is Kaui Souza.
